Dia de Los Muertos - Prague Holišovice

As a Mexican-American I was excited to hear this year's "Day of the Dead" celebration in Prague would be bigger than ever. Although it's a Mexican holiday many different Latin Americans like to attend such events and come together as a community, so you can find stalls selling jewelry from Chile, alcohol from Venezuela, and steak from Argentina. Czechs have their own tradition this time of year for cleaning and decorating graves, so for the Czechs at the event it was presumably more about food, drinks and dressing up - than remembering family members who crossed the great divide. Although, how better to celebrate them?
