Porto, Portugal
Nestled in a river valley, but not too far from the sea, is the magical city of Porto. If you’re like me, and you fancy taking your camera and a walking beer out on the streets to people watch, you've come to the right place. The city has a warm beachy vibe, even though there aren’t any actual sandy beaches. There are plenty of parks though, and views are stunning from almost every corner of the city. I ate fresh oysters almost everyday, I even carried my own bottle of piri-piri hot sauce with me so that I would be ready for an oyster anytime. You won’t be surprised that most of the photos below are from the market, since that was where I spent most of my time. A must-do is to tour a classic port wine producer, which I went to do, and tasted as many other port wines as I could on the way back. I’ve never spent as much money on food and drinks during a trip as I did in Portugal and it was worth every penny.
